By inputing these blocks and codes it resulted into the character to move in order to get to the end.

What did you learn from this exercise?

What We Learned So Far - Science class

Here at Tamaki College, in Science class we learnt different topics almost every week of this term. These are the topics that we learnt in Science class.

First of all we had to learn the rules of being in the laboratory and they were:
1. Put your bag under the table
2. No eating and drinking

4. Do not run or play
5. Do not touch any equipment or chemicals without permission
6. Tie up long hair while doing practical
7. If accidents happens, report to the teacher.

A few days after we learnt about the branches of science.
Physics - study of objects, how they work, how to build.
Chemistry - study of chemicals.
Astronomy - study of living things.
Geography - study of volcanoes, earthquakes.
Zoology - study of animals.
Botany - study of plants.

Image result for bunsen burner
Next was learning about how to use a Bunsen Burner.
1. Attach the rubber tube to the gas tap.
2. Close the air hole.
3. Light the match, bring it to the top of the burner.

5. Open the air hole when ready to heat something.

Next topic was about the layers of earth.
There are 4 layers of the earth:
4 - Crust
3 - Mantle
2 - Outer core
1 - Inner core

Image result for plate boundaries
Next topic was about tectonic plates and plate boundaries.
1. Convergent boundaries - where two plates are colliding.
2. Divergent boundaries – where two plates are moving apart.
3. Transform boundaries – where plates slide passed each other.

3D Volcano

Deep inside the earth they are magma flowing around within the earth and when they is too much pressure and heat, the magma is to impact so it finds ways to escape the inner earth which where the magma goes up the earth in volcanoes and erupts.

Volcanic Eruption

Today my class and I experimented with an volcanic eruption with vinegar and baking soda. After pouring the vinegar into the conical flask to the mark 5 lower line, we then added the baking soda into the conical flask and suddenly it reacted and flooded up to the top.

Learning from this reaction it tells me that, if your adding two chemicals together it will react and can turn into something good or bad.
