Rounding Whole Numbers

WALT - round whole numbers.

Round each number to the nearest whole number.

1. 3687.86 3688

3687.86 is between 3687 and 3688. Since I am rounding up to the nearest whole number I will look at the number in the tenths place to decide whether to round up or down. Because 8 is greater than 5 I will round up to 3688.
